{holiday style inspiration: bejewelled cuffs & opera gloves}

. . . the lanvin fall 2011 rtw collection was filled with holiday-perfect party dresses, festive hair adornments, and impossibly chic crystal-embellished opera gloves . . .

. . . pair with a cocktail dress for festive soirées, an evening gown to catch a performance of the nutcracker, the look is equally perfect with faux fur or feather capelets on chilly december afternoons . . .

. . . and to mix things up just a little, one could also create the look with a pair of long leather opera gloves and a bejewelled cuff, or two -- and so, below, a few lovely options . . .

1 - bijoux heart laque 24-karat gold-plated swarovski crystal cuff // 2 - dries van noten burgundy long gloves // 3 - badgley mischka pearl deco stretch bracelet // 4 - unconditional long calfskin gloves

1 - maison martin margiela long leather gloves // 2 - miriam haskell 'legacy' floral & glass pearl hinged cuff // 3 - lanvin oversized swarovski crystal and leather cuff // 4 - reiss plain long leather gloves

tiffany & co. opera flair gloves // lulu frost drift cuff

thanks, everyone :) this post was in the making since forever, but had to be re-done to fit the new format, and so very much appreciate your taking the time to comment ♥

& to lisa - well, perhaps not exactly always for less, depending on which gloves and which cuffs one might purchase, but definitely a whole new range of options and looks to switch it up for the holidays . . .
